Faheem began his professional cricket career playing domestic cricket in 2013. He performed well in domestic cricket and earned a spot on the 2017 national team.

T20 International Career
Faheem played in his first T20 match for Pakistan against the World XI in Lahore on September 12, 2017. He did not score a run or take any wickets in the game. He became the sixth overall bowler and the first Pakistani to score a T20I run against Sri Lanka on October 27, 2017. His bowling was instrumental in the victory of Pakistan in that match.
