Imam was born on December 22, 1995, in Multan, Pakistan. He began his cricket career at a young age and played for various teams at the domestic level in Pakistan. He made his first-class debut for Lahore Shalimar in the 2012-13 season and quickly established himself as a consistent performer in domestic cricket.
Family
Imam-ul-Haq is the nephew of Inzamam-ul-Haq, a former Pakistani cricketer and captain widely regarded as one of the finest batters in the sport’s history, who also served as the national team’s chief selector. Imam Ul Haq Career
In October 2017, Imam made his international debut for Pakistan in a One Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka. He had a successful debut series, scoring a century early in his career and quickly establishing himself as a regular fixture in Pakistan’s ODI side. He made his Test debut in 2018 and has continued to represent Pakistan across formats in the years since.
Imam has been one of Pakistan’s most consistent ODI performers, known for his ability to build long innings at the top of the order and for his reliable fielding. He has also played franchise cricket, including stints with Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL and county cricket in England with Somerset and Yorkshire.
