Career

Anam began her media career in 2011, co-hosting the PTV debate show “Yeh Faisla Hai” alongside veteran actor Khaled Anam, and also co-hosted the children’s show “Dum Dum De De.” She transitioned to acting in 2012 with a supporting role in “Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley” opposite Sarwat Gillani and Shehryar Munawar.

She built a reputation for strong negative and antagonist roles across dramas including “Joru Ka Ghulam” (2014), “Shehrnaz” (2016), and “Waada” (2016). Her role as Fareeha in “Do Bol” (2019) earned widespread praise, and her portrayal of the antagonist Shaheena in “Mera Dil Mera Dushman” (2020) further cemented her reputation, earning her a Viewers’ Choice nomination in 2021. She also received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2017 IPPA Awards in London for “Noor-e-Zindegi” (2016).
