Mohammad Amir’s cricket career began when he was discovered by former Pakistani cricketer Mudassar Nazar at a young age. He debuted for the Pakistani national cricket team in 2009 at 17 and quickly established himself as a talented left-arm fast bowler.
In 2010, Amir’s career was derailed when he was involved in a spot-fixing scandal that resulted in a five-year ban from cricket, along with a prison sentence in the United Kingdom. After serving his ban, Amir returned to international cricket in 2016 and became a vital member of the Pakistani team once again.
