Career
In his early days in Pakistan, He played for Government College Lahore and Rawalpindi Club between 1959 and 1965. Ehsan was a left-arm speed bowler and right-handed batsman. He then made a move into the UK to pursue higher studies. He has lived in England since 1960.
PCB REPRESENTATIVE
He was a member of his country’s PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) between 1989 and 1996 in the ICC. He was on the advisory committee as a representative of the PCB during the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Mani was also a member of the advisory committee during the 1999 World Cup held in England.
CAREER CHANGES IN ICC
In 1996, ICC members selected him to be the ICC Chairman of the ICC Marketing and Finance Committee. He was in the post up to June of 2002. He was then appointed the executive board’s vice president.
